My Passion for HO Slot Cars & LIONEL Trains:
My personal passion is HO Scale vintage electric slot cars! Santa gave me my first Aurora Model Motoring set for X-Mas in 1964. Well I was hooked right away! I ran those little cars into the ground, and like most, I couldn't wait to take them apart and tweak them to go faster. I remember saving my allowance & paper route money to spend at the local hobby shop on new cars and "hot rodding" parts. Over 50 years later that passion is still there! I still have many of my childhood cars, which I still run around the track.
Our family also enjoys an extensive collection of vintage LIONEL Trains. My Father-In-Law was a very serious collector for over 60 years. He was extremely sensitive to authenticity & condition detail in his collecting. 40+ years ago, his obession with LIONEL added to mine for AURORA. I understand "collectibles"!
How My Love for the Hobby Created HAC Enterprise
I come from a family of Lionel Trains, Coins and Hummel Collectors, so I learned early the importance of protecting quality collectibles, while still enjoying them. I understand the necessity to preserving their lasting value for generations to follow. Afterall, our collections DO REPRESENT A FAMILY ASSET!
Beginning with the birth of the PC in the 80's, I have obsessively assimilated Spreadsheet and Custom Presentation Technologies into my passion for HO Slot Cars! My professional history includes 40 years in Sales, Marketing & E-Commerce Solutons. I have been a Member of EBAY since 1997. Overall, this experience is demonstarted in my commitment to protecting and creating exciting visual displays for my personal HO Slot collection.
